AURI: Infection in the upper respiratory tract sometimes  have palpable nodes due to associated bacterial infection. Make sure the headache is not stiff neck of meningitis

Over-the-counter options include Tylenol (acetaminophen), Motrin, Advil, Aleve, Excedrin Migraine, and their generic brands. A bad or increasing headache, recurrent headache, weird headache, or with other worrisome symptoms should be checked.

Also, you should be evaluated to ensure that the headache are benign and not from something more serious.  I'd see a neurologist.  If you already have, then search out one in your region that is more specialized with headache disorders.
