Lymph nodes: Lymph nodes on neck area can get enlarged due to different reasons, among the most common are upper respiratory tract infections. They can be sore and persist for several days. Most of the time they resolve on their own. If they don't and still present after 2-3 wks they should be evaluated. If that is the case the should visit pcp.
