chikenpox can cause neck tb to reoccur again? got swollen lymph nodes under chin, ear & back of head. is tb come back or is it due to chikenpox?

Mgt/workup: I would recommend an evaluation for TB. A chest radiograph and possibly cultures are indicated.

When you have chickenpox, there also are lymph nodes which enlarge, but in six weeks should return to normal.

so i had chin/jaw lipo in mexico 2 months ago. a lot of fat was removed but im still so swollen and have swollen lymph nodes under my chin. is it normal to still be this swollen? also why is it that i wake up and im so puffy/swollen it looks fat?

: There are risks to traveling for medical care to places where qualification standards are less rigorous than here. Normally my response would be that your surgeon is responsible for your post-surgical care, and that you should return for reevaluation. You might, however, want to first seek a second opinion from a qualified Plastic Surgeon.

Monitoring Centers: Lymphatic system absorbs/carries things too big to go into the arteries/veins like bacteria eaten by white cells and digested food. Lymph nodes "taste" the lymph for anything bad like bacteria/viruses/cancers, etc. When it detects a problem, it alerts the immune system and your body reacts. They enlarge in response to the inflammation they create when they react. They shrink when all is well.

Have it evaluated: Lymph node enlargement is normally infections and may come from the skin or from a dental abscess.  With no obvious cause you should have it evaluated by your physician.

Probably nothing: This is a constellation of minor anomalies such as any generally healthy person may have. Lab reference ranges are set so that a few percent of healthies fall outside on either end. You need a general physician or skin Dr. to evaluate your scalp (?), &amp; serum iron and TIBC to search for mild iron deficiency (commonly raises RCW before anemia sets in). Malignant nodes aren't subtle.

Cervical adenopathy: Lymph glands in head and neck areas are very often enlarged. In most cases, the enlargement is related to simple upper respiratory tract infections such as the common cold or flu, caused by a variety of different viruses and bacteria. Symptoms may include a sore throat, a runny or blocked nose, earaches and possibly ear discharges.

my son has severe acne and swollen cheeks. he also has swollen lymph nodes on his neck and under his chin.  are these related?

Maybe: All teens have a few palpable lymph nodes in the neck. I don't know why his cheeks are swollen, but junior does need to have his acne treated with something strong enough to work -- if you fail to do this, this will be a cause of regret / resentment for a lifetime. Acne is non-lifestyle-related, a grave social problem and can result in lifelong disfigurement. Please get with a scientific physician.

Depends: Upper neck area nodes can been seen well. Lower neck nodes can be out of range of imaging.
