Need work up: Persistant altered GI function need investigation to find the cause first examination by your doctor , simple sonogram to ct scan , upper and lower endoscopy  then will determine the cause and treat you , please visit your doctor.

Patience: The co2 gas insufflation that they use for laparoscopic appendectomies needs to be gradually resorbed by the intestines and then passed on afterwards.  There is nothing that you can do to speed this up.  It should pass with time.

i work out 3 days a week, eat healthy but no matter what i eat i have bad gas and bloating everyday all day. why? what can i do to get rid of it?

Foods to reduce gas: use suggested dietary restrictions and check to see if milk products are a problem by avoiding milk or milk products  processed cheeses  and butter and see of that makes a difference. If still unsure a lactose h2 breath test can give you a more definitive answer.

Bad gas: Flatuence (gas) can be a common symptom after a gastrointestinal infection. This can last several days after other symptoms resolve. If you need to try something to help relieve your symptoms, there are many gas relief medicines over the counter. Gas-x or beano are a couple.

Simethicone: Get a produce containing simethicone.  This will break up the gas and help to relieve your condition.  Try to avoid foods that cause gas for you.  High carbohydrate food especially simple sugars will ferment and give you lots of gas. Beano,  mylicon gas, mylanta gas, phazyme products and many others are examples of anti-gas medications.  No hot air here, just passing on to you. What a gas!

Crohns meds: If the crohns is still active then meds to control the GI inflammatory process needed  these include steroids, immune modulators and diet to minimize symptoms  irregular movements can be helped with colace (docusate sodium) and possibleuse of fleets enema if constipation rather than diarrhea.

Stop dairy: You might be lactose intolerant.  Try stopping all dairy for a week or two.  If the gas persists check in with your family doc.

Many things: It depends on what the cause is.  If you feel constipated, increase the amount of fluid and water in your diet.  If you frequently have heartburn then a medicine to treat heartburn may help.  If your symptoms continue be sure to see a doc!

Time to see a doctor: Any stomach flu type of illness can have some nausea, bloating, vomiting, diarrhea, tummy pain, tummy cramps, fever, chills, sweating, dizziness, etc...  One person can have some or all of these symptoms. If symptoms are mild, they might go away in a day or two. Sometimes they can be severe or last a whole week, so a doctor's evaluation is helpful if symptoms are worse than just mild.

Find the cause: Many different things can cause stomach bloating. True bloating due to a large amount of gas can best be avoided by avoiding the foods, activities that cause the gas accumulation.  Many other things feel like bloating but may be due to inflammation or adhesions or gallstone problems etc.  See your primary to figure out the cause of your symptoms.
