Sounds like stye: You can try hot compresses with cotton balls 3 -4 times daily for 20 minutes. In addition, you should see an ophthalmologist who can prescribe some antibiotic-anti-inflammatory drops 4 times a day..(tobradex (tobramycin and dexamethasone) works well.).

Don't do it.: It is not recommended to perform eyelid surgery on oneself.  See an ophthalmologist who can remove your bump.

Stye: This is almost certainly a stye.  A gland of the eyelid is blocked and the retained contents set up the redness and some degree of discomfort.  The white bump is the gland outlet which now contains pus squeezing outwards and making the bump.  Treat this with very warm soaks for 4 minutes at a time about 5 times per day and it should go away.

Chalazion: A chalazion is an inflammatory mass in the eyelid surrounded by a cyst wall.  Unless properly excised and removed to include the cyst wall. It will persist and may cause pressure symptoms and disturbance of vision.
