Please : Please see your physician.  A patient with a wound on the foot can get in serious trouble.  The wound can easily get infected and not heal well.  This wound could then result in a deep seated infection into muscle or bone.  Such wounds can require hospitalization or surgery.

Bactrim (sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim) not helpful: I doubt that Bactrim (sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim) will help a pressure ulcer. Are you diabetic? In any event, have your doctor refer you to a wound clinic.

Your question: Is not very clear. It would be important to know if you are diabetic. If you are and have an ulcer on the bottom of the foot then it is very important the ulcer is off loaded as well. Maintaining strict glycemic control is also key. Antibiotics are given when infection is present.

: An ulceration would be visible on the surface of your skin. Is it something you can see? Without further injury an ulcer should resolve in a week or so. If you have a visible lesion for more than two weeks see your physician.

Depends: This could be anything, but consider a fungal infection if it is lingering for months.  You could try an antifungal cream.  If it doesn't work after a few weeks straight, get it looked at.

A thorough evaluation as to the cause of the ankle condition as well as any possible metabolic conditions that may be contributing to the ulcer formation has to be explored. Sometimes, just simply wearing a boot may not be enough to effectively treat the condition.

Vasculitis: Livedoid vasculopathy is an uncommon condition.  If this is a confirmed diagnosis and other entities are ruled out, treatment options include: Pentoxifylline (trental) (400 mg 3 times/d), low molecular weight heparin, hyperbaric oxygen therapy and IV methylprednisolone.  You should follow closely with your dermatologist or rheumatologist.
