An ulceration would be visible on the surface of your skin. Is it something you can see? Without further injury an ulcer should resolve in a week or so. If you have a visible lesion for more than two weeks see your physician.

Ulcers do appear in the feet if diabetic and a decrease in circulation causing a breakdown of the soft tissue. Non diabetics develop ulcers from chronic pressure and develop under difference circumstances. Either the case allowing to heal will not get it to cause the problem because they will reoccur. Seeing a podiatrist can help you determine the cause and treatment
