Not really: Best medicine remains Coumadin (warfarin) or Heparin or lowmolecule weight heparins like Lovenox etc.

See a doctor: The only way to rule out aclot would be to see a doctor and havea deuplex ultrasound test done.

Ultrasound: Aspirin won't hurt, but it won't dissolve a thrombus (clot) if that is what you have. You should see a doctor asap and get an ultrasound. If you do have a clot and it breaks free, it could travel to you lungs and cause serious problems (pulmonary embolus). It may not be a clot after all, but i wouldn't want to take any chances.

None: Aspirin is not a good treatment for a deep venous thrombosis aka a blood clot in the leg. There area other medications that are better at getting the clot to resolve. Talk to your physician.

No: Aspirin can inhibit coagulation of blood in the legs, but once a clot forms it will not dissolve the clot. At that point "blood thinners" are the treatment.

: Regular exercise is a good preventive measure. Aspirin has risks and benefits and you need to discuss it with your doctor who knows you health history.

Help: Aspirin is a form of an anticoagulant that lessens the chance of a blood clot.  However, the most important thing you can do is make sure that you don't have a DVT in your leg.  Will likely need a venous doppler ultrasound.
