i got a big red bump on my face i started thinking it was a pimple but sometimes it itches i tried to pop it and nothing but pain thout it was a bite.

Ear bump: Could be inflamed sebaceous cyst. Hot packs may help. May need excision when calmed down to prevent recurrence.

Cyst: Assuming the bump is painful, it is likely a cyst which is a fluid filled bump below the skin.  It could also be an early abcess, which is an infected collection of pus below the skin, like a pimple but more painful and larger.  Either can be a consequence of shaving in the genital region.  Don't squeeze or pop it!  i recommend seeing your doctor asap to see if it needs to be drained.

Warm compresses: Probably a soft tissue infection. Young guys get these because bacteria are able to invade beard hairs.  Put warm compresses on it. If it seems to be a deep infection interfering with breathing (and you will know) or you develop a fever, get seen. If it is not resolving within a week get with your physician.

ive go a raised red bump on my face.looks like a swollen pimple.redness has reduced but it has been almost 3 weeks.ive been applying hydro cortisone.on the same side i have a visible swollen gland below my jaw line.not feeling sick though.please help?

Exam needed: This may have been an inflamed/infected cyst or ingrown hair that has organized into a papule that no longer is inflamed. I recommend having a physician or dermatologist examine and advise you.

Skin infection: did you actually see a spider bite you? If not, the bump you describe is likely an abscess. In any event, it should be evaluated by a physician to determine the appropriate course of treatment (I &amp; D +/- antibiotics).

Maybe. Maybe not.: Anything applied to the skin can lead to a rash if the person's skin is (or becomes) allergic to the substance, or if the skin gets irritated by the substance. One way to figure this out is to stop putting the substance on the face, and later try the substance on a different place such as the inside of one elbow (use opposite elbow for comparison). Of course, for bad reactions, a doctor is needed.

i have a quarter sized red bump on my face. clear liquid came out,  appeared over night, a little sore to touch, what could this be?

Insect bite?: This could be som sort of bite. Clear liquid means likely no infection. Keep an eye on it and if it does not go down on its own or starts oozing puss och becomes more irritated, you develop fever or such, seek MD.
