Maybe. Maybe not.: Anything applied to the skin can lead to a rash if the person's skin is (or becomes) allergic to the substance, or if the skin gets irritated by the substance. One way to figure this out is to stop putting the substance on the face, and later try the substance on a different place such as the inside of one elbow (use opposite elbow for comparison). Of course, for bad reactions, a doctor is needed.
