Wisdom teeth: Maybe but not necessarily. There are a lot of unknown factors here. If all the crowding is in the front, then it's unlikely that your front teeth could push all the other teeth backwards. The front teeth are smaller and the back teeth are larger. In a tug-o-war, the bigger will always win.

Dry Socket?: See the dentist or surgeon who removed the teeth--you may have a dry socket. Dry sockets are very painful and without treatment can last several weeks or more. Dry sockets cannot be "fixed" immediately because they are a process of bone death, but the pain can be minimized during the bone breakdown and repair phases until healing occurs. Your dentist will help you through the process. Good luck!

Dry socket: Dissolvable stitches typically take 4-10 days to dissolve.  As long as the clot has been retained ( the dark blob in the socket), you should be healing well.  The stitches pull the tissue together to hold the clot in.  If prolonged pain is present, please return to the extracting dentist for potential dry socket therapy and/ or an antibiotic prescription.  Dry socket can be debilitating.

Any time: This includes crunchy foods, such as nuts, chips and raw vegetables.

No: No, cannot grow back. If you had an extra tooth (supernumerary) that was not removed, that one could emerge. For best results with wisdom teeth,  make sure you are evaluated and treated by a board certified oral &amp; maxillofacial surgeon.

Extraction Pain: After a week you should for the most part be healed, but without knowing if this was a surgical extraction with a soft tissue flap and bone removal, it's hard to say. Best bet is to call the oral surgeon who treated you.

Yes: Muscles are pulled and stretched during the procedure. Speak to your surgeon if it persists.

Tooth: Sometimes we will not take out all the wisdom teeth especially if one is to near the sinus or to near the lower nerve. If it comes in and you can keep it clean great you have another tooth you may need someday. If not then i would have it taken out so you do not hurt the tooth in front of it.

i had my wisdom teeth removed yesterday and i would like to know how long until i can drink soda again?

Depends: If you want to drink soda now, you should remove the fizz by pouring it back and forth between two containers (glasses work). This removes the carbonation which is what might damage the blood clot forming in the socket where the teeth were. If you need the fizz, wait 2 - 3 days at least, to be safe. Otherwise you risk a dry socket complication. Not fun. Good luck.
