Not 100%: Your tubes may have become patent.  Your doctor can do tests to see.

Possible.: There is a chance you can still get pregnant since tubal ligations are not 100% effective. Make sure you check a pregnancy test. If it is positive, see your doctor right away because there is also a chance of an ectopic pregnancy (pregnancy outside of the uterus, e.g. In tube). Best wishes.

A tubal can fail: , not very often, butif u think u are preg do a home or blood test if you are not and have missed your period , please see your gyn for a workup.

Needs to be redone: It sounds like you have degree of reanastomosis. (the tubes are coming back together) you should see your gyn to have it redone, because if you do get pregnant after having a tubal ligation, you are at high risk for an ectopic. **.

Rarely, but yes: While chance of pregnancy is remote at 1%, you should simply exclude with pregnancy test. If negative, then see doctor to evaluate female hormones & ovultory function.

Pregnancy: A miscarriage after a tubal ligation is a possible indication that one end of the  fallopian tube is not scarred closed.  Whether you would be able to proceed with a normal pregnancy is unknown.  There is a radiologic procedure known as a hysterosalpingogram that would allow a better evaluation of the remaining tubal structure.

In at least: One of your tubes there is an accessory opening that allowed you to get pregnant. This is concerning because you are at risk for an ectopic (tubal) pregnancy, which can be dangerous. See your doctor for options.

Please do not try: To get pregnant with out evaluating your tubes as at least one tube is open, but since it was cauterized 9 yrs ago most likely it is not normal and if u get pregnant again it could end up in your tube (ectopic) if u do not want preg then tube can be redone i rec office essure, takes 5 minutes u are awake, one you get pregnant , if it ends up in the uterus the tubal has no bearing on a whether it isn.

Could be ectopic...: Odds are about 1/250 of conceiving after tubal, but when fertilization occurs it is much higher chance of being ectopic (stuck in the fallopian tube), which can be very dangerous -and can seem like a miscarriage at first , you need to have hormone levels followed and sonograms done to check for ectopic pregnancy, this is a potentially very dangerous condition.
