Urinary Tract Infxn: Thank you for asking this important question. Your symptoms are very common and are associated with a urinary tract infection (or UTI). These are easily diagnosed with a urinalysis and confirmed with a urine culture. Based on those results, you may be prescribed antibiotics, advised further work-up, or referred to a specialist. See your doctor ASAP as these symptoms can progressively become worse.

Stones?: Stone likely but hemorrhagic UTI  possible but less likely. Need to see your doc for urinalysis.

See hematologist: Dark or reddish-brown urine is often an early symptom of an Acute intermittent porphyria, a condition from abnormal breakdown of red blood cells from enzyme defect.It may be mistaken for hematuria [blood in the urine] The abnormal color is due to accumulation of pigments called porphyrins and/or porphobilin in the urine. The abnormal urine coloration may lessen or return to normal between attacks.

Symptoms.: I am confused. Do mean that there is blood in urine and it is painful to urinate?  If the answer is yes, than I would get evaluated but not necessarily emergently. However, if you are hemorrhaging - that would require urgent attention.

Back pain: You need to be seen and carefully evaluated ASAP. Do not delay this. You may have an infection or other non-infectious inflammatory condition and it may involve your kidneys, spinal cord or other areas. Please get this seen to quickly before you become increasingly ill.

Local irritation: It may be followed by uti. Increase liquids, may use otc Azo tabs and observe. To doc in am if not better. Need to avoid rough friction or under lubricated foreplay. If severe pain on urination go to urgent care tonight for antibiotics. Notice the place of the urethral orifice in women lies in the front aspect of the vulva. Friction with this area should be minimized to avoid sex- induced UTI etc.
