Likely benign: It's common for irritated areas of the buccal surface of the lips cheek to become white and very painful ones they are irritated. I would recommend giving this another few days and if it worsens then please consult with one of us digitally so that we can view some images of this lesion.

on week 4 of invisalign i noticed my top lip swelling, i was in a lot of pain on my top front tooth now i see a white bump on frenulum.is this serious?

Yes: Any pain/bleeding/swelling is a red flag that something's wrong.  Please call your treating Dentist or (hopefully) Orthodontic Specialist immediately.

Exam required: To determine the cause of the swelling , usually traumatic , like accidental biting or dental appliances, or infectious like from an abscessed tooth or gums..

Could be papilla: The incisive papilla is a projection on the palate near the incisors.  It may be but i don't want to guarantee since it needs to be examined.  Often, it is not a problem, but if it is really troublesome for you, i would consult an oral surgeon and get options.

Inflamed  taste bud: A white bump and not an area of leukoplakia is an inflamed taste bud on side of tongue. The taste buds are essential for tasting food, there being  between 2,000 and 8,000 taste buds. The ones at the tip detect sweetness; the ones in the back detect bitterness, the sides detect saltiness and the lateral area detects sourness.  If the taste buds become inflamed, it can lead to complications such as described.  Warm soaks and antibiotics if needed should be considered.

my daughter fell about 6 months ago. her tooth in the front turned dark gray. said it wasn't dead it was ok. white bump on gum now red is it serious?

Bump on gum: It seems that her tooth might have died, hence the gray color. The red bump may represent an abscess. See a childs dentist for treatment.

i think my wisdom tooth might be finally coming in on upper right, clinic said it would be impacted. in the molar in front of it to the side there's an off pink slightly white bump that's sensitive to touch but otherwise fine. could it be an abscess?

: As teeth erupt into the mouth the covering of gum tissue thins and becomes tender (an erruption cyst), as it ruptures it can commonly become infected but not cystic ( a collection of puss in a epithelium lined cavity). You should see your dentist or oral surgeon and have the area treated with an extraction or other recommended treatment.

i have a pink rough patch on the inside of my mouth on the lower part of my inner lip in front of my teeth. no bumps, have had it for 2-3 weeks.

Examination: Can't see, feel, or examine the lesion over the computer.  The fact that it has been present more than two weeks is troublesome.  Please call your Dentist for examination of referral to Oral Surgeon.

is it normal for my lip piercing to feel hard in front of the piercing spot as if there's a bump there? i got it done 2 months ago but kept messing with and still hasn't healed properly and gets irritated and red easily in that spot?

: That can be a part of the healing process. But, if it is also red and irritated, this can be a sign of infection and it should be looked at by a doctor, if this continues. You can put an antibiotic ointment on the area a couple of times a day to keep it from getting infected. Good luck!
