i took a nap & i woke up dizzy i measured blood glucose level it was 42.i took sugar, but does this means that i have hypoglycemia awareness? & shouldn't my body wake me up at level of 60?

: The more time your blood sugar gets low, the less your body is aware that it is low. If you have diabetes, that is a problem when your body is not aware that it is low.

Hypoglycemia : Normal blood sugar (glucose) should be 70 to 100 mg/dL  or 3.9  when fasting. It is best tested with a finger stick glucose meter, not through blood tests going to the lab.  Lab blood tests are not accurate because as the blood sits around the red blood cells use the glucose in the blood and thereby lower it. So, if a finger stick is lower than 70 the person is technically hypoglycemic.

when my blood sugar level is 10.0 mmol or 10.3 mmol i get hypoglycemia in the early morning before breakfast. i take mixtard30 by 35 iu, 2 times a day. but before lunch at 3.30 sometime 7.4 / 7.7 mmol not hypo as morning! please your helpful suggest?

: I'm confused. We use units of mgs when looking at blood sugar levels, but when I look at conversion tables,10 mmol equates to 180 mgs and 7.2 mmols converts to 130 mgs. These are not hypoglycemic levels of sugar. Is your HgbA1c less than 7% which is considered controlled?  I've never worked with Mixtard 30/35. Perhaps in the early morning hours your blood sugar level goes from high to low too fast

Healthy food, less r: Eat healthy food. If you're on diabetes medication, then you need less. Talk with your doctor. If you don't have diabetes and aren't taking medication to lower your glucose, then you don't have hypoglycemia. You just have a natural lowering of high glucose to normal, which causes your symptoms. Weight loss and a better diet will stop the symptoms. Don't worry, symptoms won't hurt you.

-occurs because you lost 'first-phase Insulin release [ patients at risk for diabetes]

with this, sugar rises, get increased second phase release of Insulin , and , especially with sweets at prior meal, causes a mismatch of food absorbed and Insulin level, causing hypoglycemia 4-6 hours after eating
 responds to avoiding sweets but incretins
will work.

any truth to the claim that consuming more fat, include trans fat, and little/no sugar will bring blood glucose level to normal range?  exercise too.

Don't get your life: With diabetes, you need to be monitored closely as you experiment. Don't expect miraculous results from swapping calories from one group to another. It's much more to your credit that you're exercising, and this will be a huge help to you -- as will simply being pro-active about your health. Best wishes.

Sugar substitute: It is known as a sugar alcohol an artificial sweetener commonly used in low-sugar and sugar-free foods. Should not raise sugar levels.
