in er for appendicitis like pain (neg). once home saw this in my chart "heterogeneous masslike echotexture in the endocervical canal without demonstrable blood flow". could being on my period cause this? cause for concern? 32 yo female?

: You should have a transvaginal ultrasound repeated after you are done with your period.

2.4cm breast lump irregular, hypoechoic heterogeneous lesion. getting biopsy. is there anything other than cancer with that description it could be?

It can still be beni: There is a fairly high chance of this one being cancer but not 100 percent. It can still be benign, so wait to worry till the biopsy results become available.Good luck.

No: A large study found that nodules less than 2.5 cm are usually harmless.  It is also reassuring that there are multiple nodules. Thyroid nodules very common and frequently harmless.

anterior shin 1cm x .3 cm x .8 cm hypoechoic heterogenous well defined nodule within subcutaneous tissues immediately anterior to the fascia of the anterior compartment musculature. no interior vascularity. lesion is indertiminate.  what could it be?

: The description suggests something small and unlikely to be serious or consequential however the only way to know exactly what it is is by a biopsy. Erythema nodosum could be found at that location and it is usually a sentinel finds to something more systemic that needs to be comprehensively evaluated.

is the texture of the endocervical canal of the cervix hard or soft?

Endocervix: The endocervix can not really be felt or palpated unless you are in labor. It is up inside of the cervical canal. It is made of columnar cells which are glandular and softer than the squamus cells that make up the ectocervix.

i have a 2.5cm and a 1.5cm solid hypoechoic heterogeneous nodule.  wouldn't the largest one be dominant?  neither hot or cold. appt in 6mths concerned

Neurologist: These sound like nonfunctioning thyroid nodules. Usually more than one nodule indicates benign ones, but the rheumatologist is best qualified to advise and follow you and decide if and when needle biopsies are indicated.

The ultrasound: Report should give recommendations on follow up or need for biopsy. Most thyroid findings are benign. When there is doubt, fine needle biopsy is often done as it is easy on the patient and often definitive.

It would help: to know what organ we are talking about. In the breast these findings have one meaning, in the liver another. So it would be very helpful to know where we are going

Needs biopsy: I am not sure where this nodule is located, breast or thyroid?  The finding is non-specific.  Nonetheless, the size of the nodule warrants a biopsy.  If the nodule is located in the breast or thyroid, it can easily be biopsied with ultrasound guidance.
