Effect of meds: Since hypertension is usually without symptoms, most would not feel any effects of treatment. Side effects of medication(s) do not occur in a majority of patients and not all adverse effects are associated with symptoms.

Lisinopril (ACE inh): Angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors are generally effective and well tolerated and for patients with PKD may help to preserve kidney function better than other BP medications.  They are contraindicated however, in early pregnancy due to risk of birth defects. Other meds are acceptable options. Often control of BP without significant side effects is trial and error process.F/u with MD.

Possibly not: Your heart, can  very well be your chest wall, try taking an NSAID, unless contraindicated, but if pain is accompanied by difficulty in breathing, sweating, radiating to other areas as arm, neck, etc or not remitting by rest and and pain killers , you want to be seen in the ER, wish you wellness

Hi ahead: Iliadin may raise BP slightly . If your pressure is well controlled it's probably safe for short term use. 3 to 5 days periodically.

Med to lower BP: Hypertension is high blood pressure.  Hypertension medications are meds that lower blood pressure.  Meds that lower blood pressure reduce the risk of future heart disease, stroke, and heart failure.  Optimal BP is less than 120/80.  If over that, see your doctor.

Which one?: There are several different anti hypertensive medications, in general they don't cause constipation, may some like nifedipine, rarely cause . You want to check with your doctor for a cause of your constipation, meanwhile drink more plain water, can use prune juice, unless contraindicated and be more mobile, walk more, wish you wellness

Hbp: Not all hypertension meds cause sleepiness. Reserpine and clonidine are two which cause signficant fatigue. Diuretics, ACE inhibitors and calcium channel blockers usually don't cause fatigue. There are many meds possible.

Maybe/maybe not: Your blood pressure rises when you stand up..this is normal. So it sounds like you are sensing a pulsation when your blood pressure rises. This probably means your medication is not perfectly controlling your blood pressure.  Depending on where the "wob, wob" feels, it could be related to a bruit, or sound of blood going through a narrowed blood vessel.  You need to discuss all this with your doc!
