Generally, patients are assessed by a dermatologist, who may initially try oral medications to control the sweating.  If medical therapy fails, hyperhydrosis patients may be offered direct Botox injections within the sweat glands, or surgical sympathectomy.

A home treatment, iontophoresis can help.  Persistent symptoms need surgery of sympathetic ganglion.
