Hard stop to motion: Most patients complain of pain about a significantly decreased total arc of motion. Certain planes of motion may be moreso affected or not in different patients. The thickened shoulder capsule loses its normal resiliency and suppleness creating a "hard stop" past which further active or passive motion is not feasible.

after i recieve a shots in my shoulder, less then 4 months later my dead shoulder symptoms come back. even with daily stretching. what can i do?

Let me explain: Most likely you have some tendonitis of rotator cuff or arthritis around the shoulder, some partial tear of the rotator cuff. This why it is coming back. Or you have occupation and stress that shoulder . Did you have MRI for that shoulder, if you do not talk to doctor about it to see any of those conditions present or other which make the pain coming back. Thank for asking, . Good luck.

Pink patch: If the pink patch is new and at the point of the pain and tingling i would have your primary doctor evaluate you for shingles or possible animal/tick bite.

Horner's syndrome: Hi panda, you probably have horner's syndrome which is common with these types of brachial plexus block. It's not a complication but a side effect. The medication blocked sympathetic ganglion in the neck along with other nerves. It will wear off along with the arm numbness. Nothing to worry about.

Not Likely: The symptoms sound serious enough that you should get a thorough evaluation. The symptoms don't sound like a post surgical syndrome, but possibly you contracted a chronic slow growing infection while in hospital. Mycoplasma is one candidate, and resistant strains have been found increasingly in hospitals. Get checked out.

Shoulder dystocia: Shoulder dystocia is a serious problem, resulting in the infant being stuck in the birth canal.  Your obstetrician is well versed in dealing with this problem during delivery.
