Possibly: Hydrogen peroxide (h2o2) does very little to benefit the oral health or healing. Some investigators question its use due to the fact that peroxides are free radicals and those have been linked to cancer.

MW taste: It will not harm however you may want to try a mw that taste better. Why do you want to use a mw on someone so young? Proper brushing monitored by the parent should prevent bad breath.

Yes it can: Hudrogen Peroxide works as a bleaching agent because it penetrates the enamel more deeply.It can cause teeth sensitivity.But it subsides when it is discontinued

Gums not teeth: The problem with excessive hydrogen peroxide is that it damages the gums around your teeth. It kills bacteria  but also damages normal cell when used for prolonged periods or at high concentrations.

: No, it should not. The mouthwash cannot damage the salivary glands. Your tongue and oral mucosa are too sensitive to the mouthwash you used, symptoms will resolve by time.

No it won't: First, you probably don't have thrush, i.e. infection with yeasts, usually Candida. Coated white tongue is not the same thing. In any case, listerine or hydrogen peroxide won't  help with either yeast infection or coated tongue.

Halitosis: Indefinitely is a long time, and the H2O2 may not be treating the cause. Bad breath can be caused by many different factors, including sinus infections, periodontal problems, smoking, cavities, acid reflux, and your diet. Address all of these possibilities with your dentist and physician, and I'm confident that your problem will at least be minimized, and hopefully eradicated.

Bacteria: There will always be bacteria in your mouth regardless of brushing flossing or mouthwashes. The trick is to keep them from sticking and colonizing your tooth and root surfaces. It's the plaque and subsequent calculus that does the damage. Focus your attention on keeping the teeth as clean as possible and have professional cleanings as needed to keep your teeth spotless.
