BACK PAIN: THERE ARE MANY CUASES ONE OF WHICH IS DISC, OTHERS INCLUDE SI JOINT, FACET JOINT, SPONDYLOSIS, STENOSIS, MUSCULAR, ETC.. WITHOUT A GOOD EXAM AND GOOD IMAGING ITS DIFFICULT TO SAY. MOST BACK PAIN IS MUSCULAR

A hamstring injury is a strain or tear to the tendons or large muscles at the back of the thigh. It's a common injury in athletes and can occur in different severities. The 3 grades of hamstring injury are: grade 1 – a mild muscle pull or strain. grade 2 – a partial muscle tear.

? Strain: This could simply be a strain of your buttocks musculature. Or it can also be referrede pain from your spine. I would give it time to improve on its own. In the event it continues see your orthopedic specialist..

Interesting symptom: Need more info. It's hard to diagnose a skin lesion without seeing it. Best thing is to make an appointment with your family physician and get some help. Green "spots" on the skin unless you are a painter or a gardener is unusual.

Sciatica?: You are desscribing a condition called sciatica.  This is an irritation of the sciatic (cy-attic) nerve as it come off your lower spine.  This can be due to disc protrusion or arthritis or instability of the vertebrae.  Usually treated with rest, heat or ice, anti-inflammatories and keeping the knees bent slightly.  May need parenteral anti-inflammatories and pain meds and pt.  See your pcp.Google.

C an ortho: many times this type of fall bruises the greater trochanter, and U can develop trochanteric bursitis, which hurts when U walk, sleep on the injured side, &amp; also up stairs. if U R thin, U can palpate over the trochanter &amp; C if it is the cause. I will try 2 attach a trochanteric region if able. otherwise google it. the blue area at the prominence of the femur, lower left.

Radiating pain: With your history of low back pain this could be radicular symptoms from a herniated disc in the lumbar spine. It is also possible from a hamstring strain or peripheral sciatic nerve irritation from something like piriformis syndrome. You should follow up with a physician to further delineate your signs and symptoms and discuss possible imaging studies.
