C an ortho: many times this type of fall bruises the greater trochanter, and U can develop trochanteric bursitis, which hurts when U walk, sleep on the injured side, & also up stairs. if U R thin, U can palpate over the trochanter & C if it is the cause. I will try 2 attach a trochanteric region if able. otherwise google it. the blue area at the prominence of the femur, lower left.
