Hi, : Hi, it certainly souds like a hemorrhoid.  Hemorrhoids can sometimes develop if there is chronic constipation. If your have constipation consider drinking at least 8 - 8 ounce glasses of water a day, eating 5 servings of vegetables, eating 4 servings of fruit, decreasing junk food and maintaining at least a minimal level of physical activity.

Maybe: If this is a pea-sized nodule on the outside, it may be a thrombosed hemorrhoid. These often respond to soaking in epsom salt baths, ice, and stool softener.

There are other things this can be, such as an abscess. If it starts to feel worse or is not starting to get better in 24 hours, you should seek medical care. If you develop a fever or chills, you should seek medical care immediately.

Yes: Irritated hemorrhoids can certainly cause streaks of blood when wiping. The best way to prevent hemorrhoids is to keep bowel movement regular, ie daily, and soft. Eating lots of fibers, drinking plenty of water, and regular exercise should help.

Given that bleeding: ...hemorrhoids aren't strictly speaking "normal," they are certainly common during pregnancy.  If your OB is certain that the bleeding is coming from hemorrhoids and you're taking plenty of supplemental iron, s/he may want to delay further intervention. so what happen was i use a toilet paper in a public bathroom that have blood on it.at the time i use the paper i have a hemorrhoid that was bleeding and want to now if i can get hiv from this.no one was in the bath room when i was there?
