See an ENT: There are products in the market that you can buy over the counter which can loosen the wax and remove it. If that does not help, then you need to see your doctor of ENT and they may do an irrigation to remove the clogged wax.

hi. my ear was blocked from wax. i put waxsol in but now it's completely blocked. can i do anything to unblock it?

Doctor can help: After trying to get rid of ear wax with water or another liquid, there may be a glob of wet mushy wax that is still inside. If the mushy glob seals the canal wall-to-wall, the person's hearing gets blocked. A primary care doctor can look inside the ear canal and usually get the remaining wax out... either with a curette, or by flushing the ear with water, or with both methods.

9 wks. of no hearing in l ear. dr. irrigated wax out. 3 weeks later- still no hearring. irrigated again- clear. on claritan for 2 weeks. still no hearring. no injury to ear- no cold.

You : You should have a hearing test or audiogram soon to determine the type of hearing loss. Also an examination by an otolaryngologist will determine if you have fluid behind the ear drum that is contributing to your problem. The causes can range from a simple otitis media to a sudden hearing loss, and this does need to be evaluated further.

Go see your doc: Hearing problems and fullness need to be evaluated by a doctor and treated if a problem is found.   Don't stick anything into the canal.  Go see your doctor.  They know what to do.

ive been using otikon ear drops for about 5 days to clear an ear infection. my ear no longer throbs but is still blocked. how can i clear wax or remaining otikon from my ear to unblock it?

Wax in ears: The wax is probably hard and impacted and your ear needs to be cleaned with an instrument. Usually a specialist is needed to do it with a microscope for good vision.

i think my eustachain tubes are blocked again after using wax softer as i have pus. dizziness. and blocked ears how do i unblock. doctor won't do noth?

Reason?: Can you explain why the "Doctor won't do noth?" Sometimes we feel that our ears or Eustachian tubes are blocked even after we believe they've been adequately treated with medication and then, believe we need another round of antibiotics or antihistamines, or whatever.  But in reality they've been treated but it takes a little time for things to go back to normal. Is that possible?

since last night inside my ears specially the right one are so itchy and i try with my pointing finger to itch all night and i feel they are wet with clear ear wax.
any suggestions? p.s. water didn't go inside?

Possible infection.: Best approach is an otoscopic look in the ear.  If infected but no perforation of the eardrum, a trial of ear drops with a solution of antibiotic and steroid (eg, Cortisporin otic solution) can be prescribed.  A family doc, Ear, nose and throat specialist, or internist can help.

Provided: you earls are cleared of wax, the blockage you feels may be the eustacian tubes..tiny tubes which communicate bewteen the middle ear and nose thus EQUALIZING pressure between the middle ear and outside...TRY SWALLOWING and /or CHEWING GUM and see if this helps...if it does some nasal spray may be helpful!

Variable: Once cerumen has filled your ear canal, it is unlikely it will clear naturally. Although cerumen naturally clears in most people, some may need doctor's help on a regular basis due to genetic and anatomical reasons. Do not use q tips!
