First things first: Were you examined by a local dentist? Have you had a professional cleaning within the last six months? Gum disease cannot be treated by brushing and flossing alone. If you have calculus deposits (which you most likely do), you'll need to have the deposits scraped off your teeth by your dentist or hygienist. Brushing will not do it for you.
