Pain control: Paper cuts to the cornea (a corneal abrasion) can be very painful, depending on the severity of the cut. Infections are also a concern. Try to keep the eyelid closed as much as possible and use otc pain meds. If there is no improvement within 24hrs. Or if there is a goopy discharge, see your physician or ophthalmologist for definitive care.

Which part of eye ?: If not the cornea: this will heal in less than a day: apply antibiotic drops
if the cornea: may tear profusely and needs to be seen by an ophthalmologist.

Usually not serious: The whites of your eyes is a thin skin covering the eyeball and can heal quickly on its own.  Small blood vessels in the conjunctiva can leak if it is cut, but the body can absorb it.  If you have pain or blurred vision see your  eye doctor.

This : This could be a corneal abrasion and is usually quite painful.  On friday afernoon, best chance to get treatment is an urgent care center.  They can numb up your eyes with some topical eyedrops and evaluate your eye more comfortably.  They need to check to make sure there are no other plastic pieces in your eye.  Treatment usually is antibiotic ointment for the eye and an eyepatch overnight.

hurt lens in eye taking out contacts. optometrist says it's like paper cut in middle of pupil. got drops, not so sore today. do i need opthamologist?

Needs more info: If the optometrist has done an examination with fluorescein and your vision is fine and they have given you antibiotic eye drops then likely on the right treatment but will need review.  However if there's any doubt about this/what's been done - as you say needs an urgent doctor assessment -either GP, emergency doctor or ophthalmologist so safer to get checked or contact optometrist again.

pimple with pus head on penis shaft after shaving.  i popped it and 2 days later  i had 5 small  paper cut looking blisters spread around my penis. no itch, burn or pain. help?

Non-problem: Keep it washed. If the area is not healed up by 2 weeks, a physician's office visit is in order. Think about getting an electric shaver, and washing before and after you shave yourself there.

Recheck: You should see your gyn to make sure your infection has cleared.  Also-- if your partner was not also treated, you might have been reinfected and may need to be treated again.

Apply pressure: If you hold continuous pressure for 5 minutes it will stop bleeding.  Set a timer and don't peek.  Make sure you have washed it well first.

Lesions: Do not delay but see your primary doctor. You may also need to see a Rheumatologist.
