i have a lot of pain on my left thumb and it hurts to move. it's not broken or fractured. also my left palm is really itchy. how can should i treat it?

Consider: And evaluation by your medical doctor/rehab doctor/neurologist for an emg/ncs (test to look at your nerves in your hand).  Wouldn't be surprised if you have carpal tunnel syndrome. Changing diapers is dangerous... Make your husband do it. He is suppose to protect you, or you can tell him its' doctors orders.

i can't walk properly for the past 1 month, i feel pain in my ankle in & around the left leg,doctor took xray & said no fracture & gave tablets,but got water blisters in my left thumb alone after having tablet for 1day so stopped medicine what to do?

: Your description is to vague to provide an appropriate response. If you walked a long distance you could be experiencing an overuse injury. Try icing for 48 hours (ice 20 minutes /one hour off)  proper shoes might be needed. Good luck

my daughter has a buckle thumb fracture, how is that usually treated?

Finger fracture: Your daughter has a fracture (broken bone) in the thumb. It needs to be splinted and immobilized so that the bones are aligned properly. No gym or sports until cleared by orthopedics. She should see an orthopedist who will monitor the healing. Typical splint time is 4 weeks.

Question is unclear: I'm glad the pain has subsided.  I don't understand the question that you wrote, 'something stic'.
There can be unusual sensations at the site of a crushed bone and nerve.  ( by the way, X-rays can't show nerve, just bone)
If you indeed had a crush injury and all you have is tingling sensation without pain, that's a good result.
These things can heal with time.

Only x-ray can tell: If this just occurred, then it's reasonable to give this a couple of days of observation, rest, icing and possibly anti-inflammatories like ibuprofen. Only an x-ray can answer the question of whether a fracture is present or not. A contusion/bruise can certainly look like this.

how do i treat a dip joint fracture that's not been treated before but has already started to round off? my entire thumb is painful. thanks.

Fracture: This sounds like you have had an x-ray of the affected limb. If this fracture is in the joint then i would recommend surgery. Otherwise there is a high likelihood that you will get degenerative joint disease. If the fracture is not in the joint then immobilization of the finger for up to 8 weeks should help with healing. Icing the area and taking an NSAID will also help. See your hand specialist.

my mri showed two straight line fractures in left thumb. what's preferred method of treatment? i work in kitchen & must be 100% able, no restrictions.

A thumb Spica: "cast (now made with more durable material) can generally fit under a glove and as long as you are right hand dominant you might be able to work full duty. Your Orthopedist should review your job description with you and determine if you can work!
