Need an eye exam. : It's prudent that you get examined by an ophthalmologist as soon as possible. The small red spot that you are describing sounds like a sub conjunctival hemorrhage which is due to a blood vessel that was damaged under the white membrane of the eye.  In itself it's not dangerous but trauma to the eye may be associated with glaucoma, retinal tear, blood in the anterior chamber known as hyphema, etc.

Possible Sinus: Most common diagnosis is a sinus infection. I recommend that you see a physician in order to get a definitive diagnosis. Simple antibiotics could resolve the issue.

Trauma?: If it's due to trauma, I'd give it time - nothing you described is worrisome. If there hasn't been any trauma, an evaluation is indicated.

Nose or eye: There could be two reasons for this finding. First is that the trauma that you sustained could have also caused damage to the inner lying tissues  of the nose or it can be due to the fact that the nasolacrimal duct which drains tears from our eye is draining blood from the eye. Either way you must see an ophthalmologist to get thoroughly examined.

i duct tape my mouth shut at night to stop snoring and encourage nose breathing. done it for months and it works. but can any chemicals from the adhesive part of the tape get into my system by way of the mucus membranes of my lips?

whats going on with me? i am having sharp pain my my throat i can't eat without gagging on food. when i talk i get hoarse after speaking for 5 minutes. i feel very drousey and my mouth is like a cave of mucus all i do is i keep spitting up mucus non-stop.

There could be many different causes for these types of symptoms:  dehydration, throat cancer, laryngitis, lung cancer, esophageal cancer, goiter, thyroid cancer & vocal cord polyps just to mention a few.   If you have had these symtoms for any period of time, recommend that you be evaluated by an ear/nost/throat doctor.

IT DEPENDS: Sympathetic nervous system release nor-epinephrine. Parasympathetic nervous system releases Acetylcholine and Substance P. The innervation scheme is complex and depends on the target gland.

Overproduce or under: ...Swallow? Most common illness to over produce would be rabies and gerd. Of course there are several anti-psychotic and street drugs that can cause hyper salivation:  pilocarpine, ketamine, pcp. Under swallowing or poor clearance can be caused by infection, trauma and nerve damage, including stroke.

Yes, but less likely: The nose, throat, and eyes tend to get exposed to the same germ at around the same time. If an upper respiratory virus has infected a person, he likely would have gotten symptoms in all 3 locations (nose, throat, eyes) by the time 5 days of illness have passed. One can still get conjunctivitis later, but it's less likely. Of course, he can also catch a new germ while recovering from the first.

Check seal: Has your tongue checked by someone who studies airway wellness?  There has been growing awareness in airway health among both medical and dental professionals, so find someone who can assess your airway function. Swallowing saliva requires the tongue to be free from being tongue-tied. If you have a mild tongue-tie, your speech may not be affected but swallowing may be. It could be dry mouth, also.
