Depends on the cause: Headaches can have multiple causes.  Migraines a more serious form of headache.  More common are tension headaches. Headaches can be due to dehydration.  You should drink water, cut down on colas and caffeine.  Also excessive alcohol intake.  Taking magnesium, calcium and b vitamins can help.  Also, some medication can cause headaches.

Headache: The best way to get rid of headaches is to find a quiet, darkened room and lie down.  Spend 20-30 minutes focusing on your breathing to relax yourself even further.  Drink some fluids such as water.  If that does not help, then try some Acetaminophen or Ibuprofen as directed on the bottle.  If these things do not improve your headache or it worsens, then consult a medical provider.
