Your body: Any increased size of gauge in general will decrease the chances of the ear being able to return to its original size/shape. For some people the earlobe may be able to recoup after larger sizes, but i would gather that any size larger than 0.5 inch, and especially if added wt or stretching were involved, may lessen possibility of complete recovery of ear shape.

Not healthy: I will start by asking you to consider gauging in the context of the health problems that can result from gauging.  A 16-gauge or 18-gauge needle is often used for an initial piercing for ear gauging.

i took out my half inch gauges an hour ago and my ear was really bloody and now the skin is turning black what do i so i skipped a size which was 7/16 i went 00 to 1/2

It's : It's hard to know what happened to your ear without seeing it. It is certainly concerning if your skin itself is turning black so i would suggest getting your ear checked out urgently to make sure everything is okay.

If there are no breaks in the skin, ice and an oral anti-inflammatory like advil can be helpful. If it looks very red, feels hot, is very tender, there is risk it may be infected and you might need antibiotics. Try to keep the area dry and clean. Hope this helps

Abnormal situation: It may be a normal reaction to an abnormal situation. Your ears are reacting to something which is unnatural for them. If you develop swelling, increasing area of redness, discharge or fever  - than it is likely that you have developed an infection.

Tell him don't do it: Why does he stretches his ears? He has probably injured his ear tissue and then bled and form a hematoma and then it became infected. He needs to see someone and most likely the hematoma needs to be drained and he needs to be on antibiotics.

Depending : Depending on how long he has had his ears gauged the hole may be able to contract down if he leaves them out. It doesn't sound like he's interested in trying that out right now, though.

It is possible to have an in-office procedure to close the holes if he ever decides he wants to in the future.

is it ok to use antiseptic wash, and peroxide to prevent an ear infection from gauge's?

Yes: I recommend a mixture of 50/50 white vinegar and rubbing alcohol to prevent swimmer's ear.
