Yes, sometimes...: Ursodiol (Actigall) is a pill used to dissolve gallstones in patients who choose to not have their gallbladders removed or in those in whom surgery should be avoided because of other medical problems. Ursodiol works only on gallstones made of cholesterol and works best when these stones are small. Ask your doctor what type of gallstones you have and what size.

Yes: Surgery is the gold standard there are meds called actigall (ursodiol) but as soon as you stop them the stones come back.

GS disolving  option: Ursodiol or Chenodiol, which have been shown to dissolve some gallstones, are available in oral bile acid pills. These medicines work by thinning the bile, which allows gallstones to dissolve. Shock wave therapy (ECWSL) for solitary gallstones and &lt;2 cms. Injecting solvent known as methyl tertiary-butyl ether (MTBE) into the gallbladder to dissolve the gallstones. Endoscopic Drainage  is another .

Perhaps: You can request it but I'm not sure if it's always possible. Because the gallstones are a primary reason for the surgery, the removed gallbladder and gallstones are sent to the pathologist for examination. Hopefully, they keep the gallstones after analysis so they can give it to you, especially if there are multiple stones. At least one stone will be broken so they can analyze it. Just ask the dr.

Avoid fatty food: Fat, grease, and oil in food stimulate the gallbladder. Avoid or minimize these foods.  If it flares, nsaids (anti-inflammatories) can help. Start thinking about the surgery if it hurts you a lot. A bad gb attack or stone passing or getting stuck can cause pancreatitis and make you very sick.  Take care.

Agree: I would agree that you need to have the stone and gallbladder removed.  Its usually done laparoscopic and therefore its not such a big operation. Gallstones cannot be disolved or treated in any other way. Leaving it can cause symptoms and can ultimately lead to complications. You can live normally after removal, and it mostly doesn't affect you after such a removal.

NO BOOST or Ensure: You don't have energy, because you are not eating. Boost or ensure are not suggested in your case. Try having some chicken soup  with veggies. You need healthy protein, carbohydrates,  very low fat and to stay hydrated.

Unlikely: Post gallbladder problems include diarrhea or change in bowel habit- not usually sikn problems

i have all symptoms of gall/b cancer. jaundice, vometing,full of gallstones. g/stones being removed in 3 weeks.is there any test to diagnose gall/b cancer before surgery?

Low probability : you have a very low chance of cancer. The stones explain the symptoms.  The symptoms are more of an obstructed biliary tree. Stones have clogged up your bile duct. Was any imaging done? I am presuming you may have had a ultrasound or ct scan. Hopefully they can help you sooner than 3 weeks. The imaging should pick up any mass in the gall bladder. Your risk is low. Best of luck
