Depends: There are many types of cysts, from large simple cysts to small follicular cysts to complex, heavy cysts.  Birth control pills trick the brain into not stimulating the ovaries, thus less cyst formation  and likely improvement in pain.  If small they can resorb in time, add tylenol (acetaminophen) 2 500 mg 4 times a day and use 2 aleve 2x per day, might work better tham motrin, good luck.

Will not hurt: But probably not, if you are having that much pain you need to call your gyn right now so your gyn can check you and make sure you do not need to have surgery and if you do not then you can get on some pain meds or go to the er.

Ovarian cyst: A cyst (follicle) ruptures each month as you ovulate.  Sometimes, the follicle (cyst) that contains the egg that you should ovulate grows bigger and the egg inside stops developing.  The cyst may rupture and cause pain or discomfort. Using ibuprofen, naproxen, or some type of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agent will help with the pain.

No dietary solutions: There are no specific foods that treat pain for a cyst.  You could try taking over the counter Tylenol (acetaminophen) to start.  Follow the instructions on the package regarding the dose.  Some women find a little relief if they hold something cool against their lower abdomen like a water bottle filled with ice water.

Ovarian cyst: If your pain i'd truly caused by an ovarian cyst, only surgery will solve the problem.

Interesting: Depends on how large the cyst was and for how long it was compressing the nerve. Usually, ovarian cysts do not compress the sciatic nerve/femoral/ or cuteaneous nerves. If the nerve pain was compressive should be alleviated in 1-6 months.

Yes : Early ambulation, walking after an abdominal surgical procedure is likley to provide more benefits that harm.  Unless recommended otherwise by the surgeon, should be okay.  The back pain may be due to positiong during the surgery, or viscerosomatic (pain referred to the back from the internal organs).  Should start improving in a few days.

Small cyst: Very unlikely to have a 2 cm cyst cause pain. Every month when you ovulate, your follicle is about 2cm in size. (a follicle is the same as a small cyst.) so unless you are having the same pain you do every month mid cycle, it is likely something different.

Not the yeast : In this case the yeast infection should be treated with anti-fungals and the ovarian cyst medically or surgically by the gynecologist.
