Discuss with MD: You have a lot going on for your age, please discuss this with your doctor, you may warrant some further testing. This is not a good forum for this question as we can not diagnose &quot;pinched nerve&quot; without examination and testing. Your doctor may order a nerve conduction test coupled with an emg, or an MRI if they have not done so already. Discuss with your doctor.

Neck pain: Sounds like you have a pinched nerve, you might want to try some over the counter antiinflammatory meds like Alieve or Motrin and if that does not help then a consultation with a neurologist might be helpful

i have this sharp throbbing neck pain on the back of my neck, left side by my spine every time i move my head from side to side. occured during stress?

Muscle spasm: Most likely this represents muscle spasm, very common in people under a lot of stress, or who keep the neck in a fixed position too long, or who have structural spinal problems. This can be relieved by daily stretches, avoid prolong or awkward neck postures and learning to reduce stress.

daily twitching eyelid on left side with headache over eye that comes and goes. sometimes neck pain or pain on back of head also. eye is dry also.

Need more info: It is not uncommon to have intermittent twitching of any muscles of the face.  However if it is continuous or the entire face twitches then needs evaluation especially if there is hearing loss or vertigo. See ENT or neurologist.

i got whiplash two weeks ago and i tipped my head back to drink water and i felt a pinching feeling in the back of my neck, pain on the left side of my neck, and i got a headache. is that a result of the whiplash or could i have hurt myself more?

Whiplash: Most likely the damage has not healed completely, and due to the swelling and enlarged tissue, the,pinching with certain movements remain. Neck and head ache are typical symptoms  of original injury and not new ones. Keep neck muscles aligned and well positioned, get massage, sleep with cervical pillow to maintain curve and decrease a side-bend compression. Use a soft collar while riding in cars.

i have severe neck pain and the back of my head is also in pain more on the right side than the left. swollen glands constant feeling of pressure?

Muscle spasm: Sounds like your neck muscles that extend up into your scalp are irritated. This may have been triggered when the lymph nodes rapidly enlarged. Why is another question - they respond to perceived threats to your body like infection. Moist heat, mild stretching and some ibuprofen might help. Massages good too. If continues or worsens see your MD.

Doctor should check: Most people get a headache at some time, such as from colds, infections, lack of sleep, too much driving, long hours on the computer, stress at work, etc... Over-the-counter options include Tylenol, Motrin or Advil, Aleve, Excedrin and their generic brands. A "terrible" or increasing headache, recurrent headache, weird headache, or with other worrisome symptoms should be evaluated now.

my hsv1 was 52.30 igg and 1.23 igm. i have been having horrible face pain on right side for months (no sores)...and neck pain (back of neck). now it has spread to the left side with no relief. is this the virus attacking my trigeminal and occipital?

: Trigeminal neuralgia is sudden, brief, and intermittent; but constant facial pain would not be due to this cause.  Do wonder about TMJ or dental causes, if persistent.  Back of neck pain would not be in distribution of occipital neuralgia.  Suggest you visit physiatrist and dentist and seek focused answers.
