Really, nothing.: Other than wearing your hair to cover your ears, there is no non surgical "ear pinning" besides headphones or sweatband use! cartilage has natural "spring" and will come out. Surgical otoplasty is a straightforward operation that can be performed under local anesthesia (in an adult) with low risks and excellent long-term results. An otoplasty: Although each person is different, ear reshaping -otoplasty- usually involves changing the shape and position  of the ear cartilage. This is done through an incision hidden in back of the ear. Most often sutures are placed to pull the cartilage into a proper shape and to pull the ear closer to he head. This is a day procedure and there is usually little pain afterward and risks a small.

No!: Any attempt at corrective procedure to the cartilage portion of the ear ( the pinna) could very easily damage it, resulting in loss of ear structure, pain, and possibly infection. I would definitely recommend a plastic surgery specialist, for your own protection.

Preschool : Preschool age is roughly appropriate for otoplasty.  Most surgeons wait until a child is at least 5.  This is true for a few reasons
1.  The psychological trauma of prominent ears in the school setting can be minimized early or prior to school enrollment
2.  Many of the adult growth characteristics of ears are attained by the age of 5
more recent studies have demonstrated safety in surgery and good long term results as early as age 4.  I would recommend visiting a few board certified plastic surgeons.  Draft a list of questions prior to your consutation to make the most out of your visit.

Otoplasty : Otoplasty (ear pinning) is a surgery performed to correct protruding ears.  After surgery your head would be wrapped with a bulky dressing.  This dressing will typically stay in place for about 3-5 days.  After that, you will need to wear a headband at night for 6 weeks.

Otoplasty is best: One device is an ear band with a molded earpiece, but this is really on for babies, when their ear cartilage is still moldable.  The device has to be worn all day. An otoplasty can be useful to correct issues like a prominent ear where the entire ear is pushed forward or a cup ear deformity where there is a lack of one of the normal ear folds.  Consult a facial plastic surgeon for a consultation.

See your surgeon: See your surgeon as soon as possible. The sutures holding the cartilage in its newly folded position may have torn through. Allowing the cartilage to resume its previous shape and position.

May not be Bells: Its possible you didn't have bells palsy, rather you had inflammation and infection of your facial nerve leading to weakness of your face. Bells palsy is not due to bacterial infection. You need to see your ear doctor right away.
