If the over the counter meds alone don't control your acne after a month of daily use, see a doctor for additional treatment options. It is important to be persistent, and some patients 'get worse before they get better'.

No miracles . . .: Go see your Family Doc or Dermatologist. On rare occasions, s/he can lance boil &amp; perhaps inject corticosteroid to minimize inflammation (although this isn't w/o risk). Bottom line, there's no pill to magically make it disappear overnight. Sorry!

Drainage and hygiene: If your infection is recurrent , an antibacterial wash such as Chlorhexidine can reduce the amount of bacteria on your skin and help prevent further infections. Pus filled areas need to be drained as antibiotics alone will not help. A culture of the pus can be taken to see which antibiotic the infection is susceptible to if the drainage does not adequately treat it. Good hand hygiene also helps.

Sebaceous Cysts: White, oil and sebum filled cysts on the penis and scrotum are very common. But, if this is an acute pimple like infection rather than a chronic non-acute cyst your doctor needs to see you.  Men commonly get sebaceous cysts on their genitals and these often clear up on their own without treatment.  Picking or pinching them can make them scar and so it is best to leave them alone.

Moist heat, review: Superficial  infections of the genital skin are frequent. Sebaceous oil glands are present in the skin. The skin is quite thick and durable, thus leading to the problem of local  infection of these small glands. Local moist heat with a wash cloth with hot water 3-4 times per day along with witch hazel as a skin lubrication  may help. Surgeon review with lance, drainage, antibiotics maybe needed.
