hi, i have this heat rash or sweat rash on my leg, i cannot get it away and have tried everything. originally thought is was from excercise and sweat, but i get it on my arm or legs. forms big red rash  with thick erdge. itches when it gets warm.

Weight lifting: You can gain weight by eating a healthy diet that consists of 1 g/kg of protein and about 20-30 % of your calories from fat.  You can also lift weights to help build muscle mass.  If you have never done this before you should seek out a personal trainer for advice on training and technique.

Spot fat loss does: not occur naturally. By losing weight in general some will probably be   thigh / calf fat. But, we don't get to choose what area of body fat is lost from. Eat healthy &amp; be physically active. Calories burned must &gt; those consumed.

i went to the gym yesterday for the first time in a while. i did 5 on recombit bike, 10 on tread mill and several lunges. the very next day i could hardly get out of bed. i have to ease into sitting. my thigh to my calf hurt. how can i get pass this?

: Too much lactic acid was produced due to overdoing &amp; deconditioning. Lactic acid will resolve by time, 1-2 days, but you can take Ibuprofen OTC 200 mg x 3 tablets with full stomach every 6-8 hours for 1-2 days so you can move around easier.

Thinner Legs Thighs: If you have achieved a healthy weight through proper diet and exercise and still have some excess fat in your legs and thighs then you may be a candidate for liposuction. See a plastic surgeon certified by the american board of plastic surgery to check out your options.

See your doctor soon: One of the worst things we worry about with one-sided calf or leg swelling out of the blue is a blood clot.  If you haven't had any trauma recently or think you've pulled a muscle, you should see your doctor.   Other things include a ruptured baker's cyst (a fluid filled sac behind the knee), or a ruptured head of one of the calf muscles.  Best of luck and take care.
