Depends: It depends.  Effects can last up to 12 hours; metabolites can stay in your system for up to 2 weeks.  At most use one kava capsule three times a week and take a full week off each month. it is preferable to use kava no more than two times a week. Kava use on a daily basis can harm the liver. In rare cases, daily kava kava use can lead to severe liver harm: may result in total liver failure.

Direct effect: Gastroparesis is a direct effect of opiates.  That why diarrhea and vomiting are seen during withdrawal.  If you are completely off of narcotics, normal bowel function should return within 3 to 7 days depending on which opiate your detoxing from.  If normal function does not return, something is causing the problem.

5 half life.: Half life of its major metabolite is about 18 hours, then in 90 hours it should be practically out of your system.
Take it easy in the process not to develop insomnia.

Hi, : Hi, it is not clear whether the hospital will be your employer. I am not sure what role the hospital has with respect to testing for methadone.  But based on the information that you presented i opinion is that the hospital has an obligation not to tell a potential employer. There are a number of laws which protect you such as the hipaa which protects the privacy of your medical information and the ada. The ada or americans with disability acts protects your Methadone program as a "covered disability" as long as you are compliant to the program. Now, there are certain exceptions such as them dot federal highway regulations. You would be disqualified from driving if you are taking methadone. I hope this answers your question. Dr joe hayes.

Reducing Anxiety: Valerian root, Passionflower &amp; Chamomile are some natural approaches to anxiety. 
Talking therapy ranks really high. Cognitive Behavioral therapy or psychotherapy can be effective. Aim for daily exercise, 8 hours of sleep per night &amp; good nutrition w 5 servings of veggies &amp; 4 of fruit per day. Try tai chi, yoga, Qi Gong, progressive muscle relaxation, deep breathing exercises &amp; meditation.

TCH?: If you're asking about THC or tetrahydrocannabinol (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tetrahydrocannabinol), then no, there is no prescription medication to clean it from your system. For that matter, there is nothing w/o prescription that will work either. You just have to avoid it and wait for nature to take its time. Hard to answer: Since there are literally tens of thousands of prescription medicines on the market, it is hard to come up with one or two. In general, prescriptions that take the longest to get out are ones with long half lives, which in turn are dosed less frequently. Most medications are dosed daily, but some weekly, monthly, or even yearly. 
The latter category includes some osteoporosis drugs Actonel, (risedronate) etc.

No: THC will take time to clear your body, roughly 30-45 days.  I am not aware of medications that make this happen faster.
