: You could have tubes put in your ear drums that would allow any fluid to drain but risk easier germ entry into the middle ear. It would be best to discuss it with an ENT that knows you well. Fixing allergies or other issues could end the fluid buildup.

"best" is variable: Some may same...Best is to allow your body to clear the infection without intervention by medicines....Most will resolve on their own just as quickly without any antibiotics...Some will persist or develop complications so best to me would be treat if not resolved in a couple of days..Best is also not the most broad spectrum antibiotic...Best is amox at about 90mg/kg/day given twice a day.

Time or myringotomy: If you have serous fluid behind the ear drum, either waiting or lancing the ear drum are options. By making an incision on your ear drum, you would get almost instantaneous relief.

Depends on where: Wax softner like murine or debrox can be tried if fluid/water gets trapped due to wax in exrenal ear canal. U need to see ear, nose & throat specialist if fluid is deep to eardrum. Best consult with your primary care dr if anything more than simple wax problem. Good luck.

See a doctor so he or she can use a scope to look down the canal and look for swelling, redness, drainage called otorrhea, and evaluate your hearing and tympanic membrane to rule out an inner ear infection. If you popping/clicking may also have tube problem. Stay calm, carry on
