Child with deformity: A child with Apert syndrome has deformed head shape, protruding eyes, high oral arch, dental crowding, triangular upper lip, various types of fusion of fingers, and quite often mental retardation. he head deformity usually requires surgeries to open up more space within the skull, so that the brain can grow. Fused fingers need surgeries too for the child to use the hand adequately.

Be patient: The visual-spatial recognition needed to decode symbolic figures (letters) is not expected in kids before age 4.At that point they are expected to recognize some letters &amp; numbers. By 5 they should recognize &amp; recite them all. If the kid seem to, be encouraging &amp; provide access to the materials but please do not pust the child as if they must to please you.

Developmental/Behavioral Pediatricians &amp; child neurologists perform physical, neurological &amp; genetic evaluations for the cause of ID &amp; associated impairments.

No: We don't have sit down school anywhere in the industrialized world at age 3. Their attention span is about 3 minutes. Let the educators do this deed when they reach an appropriate developmental stage. Enjoy the kid while you can.
