Depends: I like the reebok slide for advanced rehab and quad strengthening. If you have patellar arthritis you should not use it. Also use in conjunction with other exercises or as part of circuit training for added benefit.

Not sure: These are not approved drugs familiar to me. What are they used for? If it did not work, don't use! Waste of money. There is nothing out there to increase your height.

Weight loss, f/u lab: Elevated triglycerides can result in fatty deposition in the liver/pancreas causing liver enzyme elevation/exacerbating Insulin resistance.  Focus first on reducing some weight (ideal weight would be 6-9 kg less), and keeping saturated fats, alcohol under control.

Unknown: Because there is no medicine or supplement to grow additional height at age 21 years, anything that a person is taking to try to do that may have unknown effects (basically, any effects would be considered side effects). One can exercise and get adequate calcium and vitamin d, to maintain strong bones.

Not true: Once you reach maturity and the growth-plates in your bones close, there is no medication or product that can increase your height.  You will just lose money on these products with nothing to show for it.     Save your money!  Best wishes!

Mid back pain: Mid back pain is a  not a common area of spine pain - one should look out for non-spine related causes. 
While it is very possible that postural changes or twisting, which one is not aware of, can cause direct mid-back spine pain, it is often forgotten that many chest and abdominal problems refer pain to the mid back.

Postural changes are the most common reason for spine-related mid back pain.

if chiropractor adjusts herniated cervical discs of an adult (over 30) will it cause discs to expand thereby increasing their height by several inches?

No: There are things that a chiropractor can do to improve the pain from a herniated disc, but among them is not the ability to cause a cervical disc to "expand several inches."

Screening: If possible, it would be helpful if she were screened for hepatitis B, hepatitis C, hemochromatosis, Wilson's, autoimmune hepatitis, and antitrypsin deficiency. This may be her body's way of asking for more exercise. I trust she is taking no medications. Best wishes.
