i used 1/2 bottle of premade fleet mineral oil enema. first time. it said to follow it with a regular saline fleet enema after, to help pass stool & clean out the oil. it's very oily! can i use a 2nd saline to clean the oil better just this one time?

Yes, even more times: You can safely use saline enemas several times assuming you are treating simple constipation but if you are getting no result, have abdominal pain, fever, or vomiting, go to the ER or see your doctor.

I : I am not sure if i understand your question correctly.
An enema tube and bag is specifically designed for use in the rectum, to try to help resolve constipation. It would not be a sterile device.
A urinary bladder catheter is a different device used to help empty the urinary bladder. A urinary catheter would be longer, softer, usually sterile, and designed specifically for the urinary system. Unclean catheters could cause urinary bladder infections.

You would not want to use an enema tube for a urinary bladder condition, if i understand your question correctly.

See your doctor: If you haven't taken your son to a gastroenterologist, it is probably time. However, i cannot tell you what is next without knowing what has been done already. Have tests been done to evaluate for medical causes of constipation? Also, the pain with eating, while it could be due to the constipation, could also be due to something else, like a stomach infection. You really need to see your doctor.

why am i gaining weight when i dont eat much? i was told i had brawney enema, my doctor wont give me diuretics, and the store ones wont work

Edema: It can be related to your heart not being able to keep up and the fluid backs up into your legs. You should also make sure some has checked your thyroid hormone panel. HYPOTHYROIDISM  can also present with edema. The weight gain is from the fluid retention. You need further diagnostic tests and cut the salt out of your diet.

is it ok to use one enema & then another an hour later? i have ibs & rarely ever use enemas but i can tell im definitely still backed up a lot. im making sure to drink enough water as well?

how long before transrectal ultrasound one should take enema. the clinic is about 30 min away from me and i dont want to have to use toilet on the way to clinic. thanks?

Try: A Fleet mineral oil enema. hold it in for 30 minutes if possible and lying on your left side with feet on a pillow above your hips. Once cleared, to avoid recurrence, make sure you are drinking 80-100 oz of caffeine free/alcohol free fluid daily.
