As your usual way: There isn't any specific way to sleep...Once you are released to home, i assume no bleeding/complication from the test and so you should sleep the way you usually do.

It would be rare : CAD in your age group is rare.  An echocardiogram would be a more appropriate test to see if you have structural heart problems.  Also  if it is a heart problem, it is significantly more likely to be a rhythm disturbance or abnormal heart beat.  This would be checked with a cardiac monitor typically an event monitor if EKG normal.  There are other non cardiac causes of chest pain.

Less likely: A recent normal coronary angiogram makes Coronary artery disease much much less likely.Other causes chest wall pain,arrtythmia,reflux,gallbladder,pancreas as well as coronary artery spasm or esophageal spasms.caffeine can increase palpitations so woul eliminate that.

i went to the er due to chest pain (3 weeks), heart palpitations, and high blood pressure. ct, 24 hr ecg, and angiogram were ok however, my heart still hurts. night diastolic is super low, blood gurgles, with occasional arythmias. is this serious?

Follow up needed: Follow up will be needed with your primary care doc ideally. While so far workup seems to be reassuring as far as having problems with your heart, work up should now expand to lungs, esophagus and musculoskeletal in order to explain and treat the pain. Arrhythmias will have to be better understood as some paroxysmal arrhythmias can cause chest pain.

Rhythm not Blockage: Palpitations or skipped beats can be caused by irritable areas in the heart that disrupt normal electrical conduction. While coronary artery blockage can cause this, it certainly can occur in the absence of blockage.

Borderline: Not everythng is black or white.You could have a blockage in an artery which is not severe so that maybe it has nothing to do with your symptoms. The result then would be inconlusive. The test is not totally normal but the problem may not be severe enough to cause symptoms or require treatment.
