Be diligent: Sounds like you are in good shape, so keep up the good work.  Your Nuclear study as i see it in your question-shows Moderate to Severe ischemia so that may be a clue to your Painful respirations, etc.  A cardiac Cath would be definitive for plaque/arterial pathology. Continue with the Cardiologist as maybe medication can be used to treat you. Bet wishes.

SI units: Most labs in the USA don't use SI units. In mg/dl, your cholesterol is:251-266. That raw number is of no value. You must break it down into LDL ("bad"), HDL ("good") and triglycerides to interpret it. Moreover, the cholesterol treatment is based on your overall risk status. Treatment would depend on whether you smoke, have HTN, diabetes, known atherosclerosis and your other med conditions.

Yes,,,: This is a very good reading, especially for your age.  A total less than 200 is desirable as this is protective from atherosclerosis or hardening and narrowing of the arteries from atherosclerotic plaques that are formed from cholesterol.  It's important to also maintain an ideal body weight as well as eat right and exercise. Good luck.

Diet & exercise: These lifestyle changes can be adopted by both of you, and since you love her, you can find some fitness activity that you both enjoy. However, cholesterol is largely genetic. She should be prepared, should lifestyle changes not be sufficient to reduce cholesterol to safe levels, to make an informed decision about taking, perhaps, a statin that should cost almost nothing.

Little.: The vast majority (98%+) of cholesterol in your blood was made in the liver.  However, HDL readings will be little affected.  But depending on how late you ate, and how much you ate, triglycerides might be elevated, giving a lower ldl, which is calculated and not measured.

How high?: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, it might have helped if you had stated the actual value.
Wish you good health! - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex.

Sure. See doctor.: Having elevated bad cholesterol eventually leads to arterial narrowing or blockage. That means decreased blood flow to the brain. When the brain gets decreased blood flow, all the bad things that you can imagine happening to the brain will indeed start to happen. That includes lowered cognitive functioning. Keep those arteries clear! One's primary care doctor can evaluate and start therapy.

i'm taking crestor (rosuvastatin) and my cholesterol readings are way below normal. my ratio is 2.1. i only take 10 mg daily. is this okay?

Yes, as long as.....: Yes, low cholesterol levels due to Crestor (rosuvastatin) is perfectly fine, and actually preferable, as long as there are no side effects and no issues with the liver (due to the crestor (rosuvastatin).).
