Hormonal changes: A TVH may at times  alter the blood supply to one or both remaining ovaries and cause changes in your hormones (predominantly your  estrogens) which can trigger transient or premature ovarian dysfunction or rarely ovarian failure. Be a little patient and use conservative measures to remain comfortable . If your symptoms worsen or concern you, consult a gyn endocrinologist for diagnosis + Rx.

does heavy bleeding period are normal after laparoscopic surgery for pregnancy. d & c miss carriage, biopsies from both ovaries.  change pads 5 times?

Bleeding: Bleeding while you are pregnant should see if you have a threatened abortion? Laparoscopy ? Why was it done? I recommend you see your obgyn  asap.

i had a ct scan of my abdomen and pelvis without contrast where mild levoscoliosis was found. there are mild degenerative changes of the lumbar spine. there is mild levoscoliosis. does this condition gets worse over time? im 32 years old?

Unlikely: In contrast, Scoliosis (spinal curvature) found in early adolescent age often progresses.  By the way, CT scanning is not a good diagnostic tool for scoliosis.

Pelvic Pain: It may not be the ovary that is hurting. The belly does not always tell the body directly where the pain is coming from. Thus, left pain can have its source somewhere else. It can seem like your ovary is the source but it may be something else. Common other things can be GI pain, back pain, other pelvic organs, etc. An evaluation with a doctor may help determine the source.

do simple functional ovary cysts only occur on the right side? can it occur on both at same time though?

If it is like a: lipoma that is slow growing on your ovary, and there has not been any discernible changes in the size or location of the mass, then all you have to do is continue to monitor it.  Having said that sometimes CT can be helpful in discerning where this lipoma is (growing into) so you would know if there is any mass effect expected. Thanks for trusting in HealthTap.

Both: It's normal for a woman to have a small cysts, even several small cysts every month.  By small i mean 1-2 cm.  When a cyst gets bigger than 3cm, then a woman may or may not notice that the cyst is there.  Cysts form as a fluid collection, just water, in a follicle where an egg once was.  That's the most common type of cyst.  Cysts can also form when a blood vessel breaks, causing a hemorrhagic.

Ovulation kits: Ovulation kits are good estimates to assist couples time intercourse  but are not a definitive way to diagnosis ovulation. If struggling with infertility and your doctor feels you may not be ovulating then a mid luteal phase Progesterone blog test should be done. If your cycle is consistently 35 days long the most likely day of ovulation is day 21.

can an ovary change in size from month to month?

Unlikely: I'm not sure why you are asking this question, it seems like you had 2 imaging modalities a month apart that showed different measurements. Change in size CAN be normal especially that the ovary is 3 dimensional and the measurements we do are 2 dimensional so there might be a slight difference that is OK. That being said, it could also be abnormal, so keep an eye on it.

how bad could an inflamed ovary get through time?

Depends: The reason for the inflamed ovary needs to be known. Inflammation and enlargement can be several different things.
