Vitamin B: The b vitamins, b1, b2 and b6 are all water soluble and, therefore, are not stored in the body. If you take more than the daily requirement of each of these, you will urinate them out. If you eat a balanced diet, you probably do not need to take vitamins. If you do not, take a generic multi-vitamin pill take has all the b vitamins as well as vitamin c.

600mg daily thiamine.  vitamin b complex,  3 capsules daily, instead of 1,from 2 days ago. been on the thiamine a week and also take 300mg quetiapine daily & 80mg proplanolol. i have tinnitus which fluctuates . could the vit b worsen tinnitus?

Do not know: Doubt that B vitamins have any influence on your tinnitus, and most likely this is due to causes associated with changes in your hearing.  Propose you discuss first with the doctor who is managing your various medications, and consider an otological/ audiometric survey to assess status of your ability to hear.

Lab errors account for some of the mistakes, but most false-positives may be attributed to over-the-counter drugs and foods that can affect the test" - Ibuprofen and hemp food products have been associated with false positive drug tests.

Nothing: B vitamins are naturally required by the body for nervous system health.  You do not have to exercise in the strict sense of the word.  B vitamins do help with metabolism and may make your body just function better if there is some deficiency.

It depends on: if you have any nutritional deficiencies, reasons for a nutritionally incomplete diet or malabsorption syndromes.  Remember if you don't have any defined nutritional deficiencies you are better off getting your micronutrients like the B vitamins from whole foods rather than from supplementation.  Alternatively if all you have is a B12 deficiency then you should be fine with a B12 supplement.

Of course!: Vitamins are essential nutrients that our bodies need to turn calories into energy. Given the poor nutrient status of our food supply (think what a teenager eats), there is no one that i can think of that cannot benefit from some extra vitamins. More processed foods = increased need for vitamins.

Yes: A multivitamin will seldom supply optimal levels of vitamin c, so i often advise that people take additional vitamin c. Some people will benefit from higher intake of b complex than many multivitamins provide and there is no danger in taking an additional b complex. There is no harm in taking lots of b's except limit b6 to 250 day. Excessive Folic Acid may be harmful- see my comment.
