Nyquil: NyQuil can cause upset stomach, nausea, nervousness, constipation and dry mouth nose and throat.  Adding meclizine could worsen some of these symptoms.  The symptoms should wear off soon.  If the symptoms persist see or call your doctor.  Serious side effects include mental and mood changes such as confusion and hallucinations, shaking and trouble urinating.  Sometimes allergic reactions can occur

Not a major issue: Meclizine is available over the counter and is considered acceptably safe.  The main issue would be additive adverse effects, such as drowsiness and lethargy, which would be temporary for 8-12 hrs, at most.

: Over-the-counter medication’s that are 3 to 4 years old are generally effective as long as they have not been exposed to moisture, high or low temperatures. Generally, if they’ve been kept at room temperature, they should be fine , or slightly less effective , but not significant .

Meclizine: Most clinicians prefer that you don't take meclizine chronically but that you seek the cause of your vertigo by consulting a neurootolaryngologist, preferably at a university hospital, and get definitive treatment depending upon the diagnosis. I think this is especially important for a young patient like yourself. Chronic meclizine intake can interfere with some rehabilitation techniques.

In my experience, m. is poorly/non-effective for over 80% of people. No research data on combining exists.

i have pretty bad vertigo. drs have not been able to find the cause and physical therapies have not helped. the only thing that helps is meclizine and ive had to take it daily for years now. is there long term effects to this medication daily?

: Not many people are taking meclizine on a daily basis for years so I do not think we have reliable data for addressing your concern. At the same time, there are studies which showed meclizine has minimal beneficial effects in alleviating vertigo in the long run. Personally, I do think daily exercise to retrain your vestibular system does have a role to overcome vertigo in the long run. Good luck.

Safe: It is not safe to take a medicine from your doctor without discussing why you are taking Propranolol.
Thyrotoxicosis  related vertigo also needs careful discussion with your doctor.

Manganese: Manganese deficiency can cause vertigo - manganese supplementation will not necessarily be a total reliever, but it may help. In addition to valium and meclizine, expert physical therapy can really help
