Compared to what?: Snapple drinks are healthier than soda and energy drinks like red bull, but nowhere near as healthy as plain water and most fruit juices.  Healthy and natural do not mean the same thing. Arsenic is a "natural" substance, but it will still kill you.

Possibly: Tea does have health benefits sometimes. It would depend on what you want to benefit and how the product was processed. I don't think there is any data on this.

It has better PR: Snapple isn't a soda.  It is fruit-flavored tea.  It is advertised as containing only "natural" products.  Snapple actually contains more sugar than Coca Cola.  Diet Snapple obviously doesn't.  Neither does diet soda.  The principal criticism of soda is that it contributes to obesity.  In equal amounts, so does Snapple.

0-15 calories each: Diet snapple teas are 0 calories and juices are 5-10 calories for 8 ounces.  They have no nutritional value.  Limit to 1-2 a day.

See below: Diet doesn't mean organic, natural, healthy, or safe.  All it means is that there are less calories than the "original".  Usually, this is done with artificial sweeteners.  Read the label for all of the ingredients.  Diet sodas and flavored drinks are not healthy and provide no nutrition at all.  The best "diet" drink is water (no additives).

drink water! forget about the additives. If you can not stomach plain water, then ok but otherwise water, water, water, water!

very good afternoon doctors!  i am preparing for a colonoscopy. my dr. gave me a rx for clenpiq, but my insurance does not cover it. can i use 238 gram miralax mixed into snapple or gatorade--is this just as good or should i pay for the clenpiq?

Colonoscopy prep: Please ask the doctor who will be doing the procedure if this is acceptable to him/her.  Your doctor would probably prefer to help make that decision vice doctors on-line who won't be involved with your procedure.

6moson refusing bottles but still wants solids even feeding with bottle first he pushes away and only eat couple ounces but still wants solids. help!

Nutrition First!!: Go with the flow. Let him have the solids- just make sure you make-up for the lost protein with legumes or yogurt or cottage cheese and the fluids with water or non-fat milk. Not every kid likes bottle formula at that age. You try it and you may guess why. If it's milk he abhors, maybe soy milk will work. Or milk with lactose removed. Don't try to force feed. Just work around it with other sources
