Nutrition First!!: Go with the flow. Let him have the solids- just make sure you make-up for the lost protein with legumes or yogurt or cottage cheese and the fluids with water or non-fat milk. Not every kid likes bottle formula at that age. You try it and you may guess why. If it's milk he abhors, maybe soy milk will work. Or milk with lactose removed. Don't try to force feed. Just work around it with other sources
