As much as needed: Adolescents normally need more sleep than adults and this is not uncommon at all for them to sleep in late because of this. I believe it is estimated that adolescents need up to 10  hours of sleep a day especially while growing. I have had 3 teens at home and can personally vouch for this :-).

No less than 9: The growing teen is faced with many choices but needs to take care of his/her sleep if they are to function well. While growing, no less than 9 hours of sleep/24hrs is needed. After their linear growth has stopped, they can sometimes get by on 8. Some will need more based on sports participation or heavy study. Events like sleep walking and sleep talking are evidence they're sleep deprived.

•	Relaxation Videos
•	Warm glass of milk
Avoid:
•	long time on social media
•	Alcohol and Marijuana 
•	Long time on news

See a good doctor: There are many possible causes of feeling tired. It's impossible to diagnose you in this format. You need an exam &amp; tests. Possible causes include anemia, thyroid &amp; other hormonal imbalances, vitamin/mineral/amino acid deficiencies, all sorts of chronic infections (viral, bacterial, fungal, parasitic), environmental or food allergies, environmental toxins, sleep apnea, stress etc. Please see doc!

?: ? Irritable bladder due too infection, or probably a stone, may be elevated blood sugar or chronic constipation, please check with his pediatrician, he might need some urinalysis, blood work / ultrasound or x-ray, good luck

Needs evaluation: The teen years are a prime time for emergence of anxiety &amp; other disorders. Most teens &amp; parents do not have the skill set to deal with these issues. I would seek out a life coach/therapist to help her identify any triggering factors and learn the skills needed to deal with them.Your primary doc should know someone in your region that can help.
