Yes.: That is overdosing.  That is very risky. IF this happened a short time ago, you need an emergency evaluation.  Call 911. But you clearly also need to address whatever drove you to this. Consult a professional, and with some haste, since you are obviously very desperate.

Will be fine.: 4 mg of ativan is a fair amount, but the medication has a large therapeutic window.  That is, a large dose may make you feel funny, sleep and forget what happened but is not toxic.

Rarely alone: Ativan (lorazepam) by mouth is fairly safe.  If given by IV it can stop breathing.  However, if Ativan (lorazepam) is added to alcohol, narcotics, or other sedatives, the combination can be fatal.  Chronic use can lead to addition and dependence on more powerful and potentially fatal drugs.
